To the rear, a mixed native species hedge introduces a softer and more naturalistic character. While the tree palette is predominantly native, the herbaceous planting is intentionally more diverse and expressive.
A generous driveway arrival space is framed by evergreen Sesleria, providing year-round structure and seasonal contrast with drifts of Euphorbia and Libertia. Sculptural standing stones selected by the client reinforce the relationship between landscape and art.
Along the eastern elevation, a productive garden with raised beds and an orchard reflects the clients’ interest in sustainable living. To the south, a small woodland of native trees and wildflower planting helps screen views from the adjacent golf course while connecting to the wider pine framework of the estate.
Small islands of herbaceous planting are strategically positioned throughout the garden, providing year-round interest, texture and biodiversity while maintaining a manageable level of upkeep. Selected artworks are placed at key moments within the landscape, creating focal points across the garden composition.
