  • Dementia Friendly Pentlands is looking to establish a community garden that offers a secure garden space for older people and dementia groups within the community as well as a play space for intergenerational opportunities.
Dementia Friendly Pentlands is looking to establish a community garden that offers a secure garden space for older people and dementia groups within the community as well as a play space for intergenerational opportunities.

An existing greenspace within an residential area has been chosen to develop this garden. As this greenspace contained previously play equipment local residents are keen to re-establish a play area again and create a new intergenerational greenspaces that caters for a wide range of ages, abilites and activities.

Engagement with local residents, different groups, including dementia groups, have been involved establishing the preferred elements for this garden space.
