Re-think

Title:

Description:

Re-think

  • Inspired by the theme of the Glass-House debate ‘Place: designed for sharing?’, this early morning outdoor workshop was aimed to re-think why and how our public spaces should be turned into interactive and shared spaces.
Inspired by the theme of the Glass-House debate ‘Place: designed for sharing?’, this early morning outdoor workshop was aimed to re-think why and how our public spaces should be turned into interactive and shared spaces.

Participants visited two different open public spaces, a greenspace and a streetscape, exploring a number of scenarios, including the inclusion and exclusion of others in place.

Participants spend time within the urban fabric reflecting on these and translating them into real scenarios and spaces. They were invited to re-think our open public spaces and their uses exploring the question ‘What is missing?’.
